Can I use my rendering as a construction document?

No, while our renderings are very accurate, they do not have enough information to be used as a construction document. We do provide construction documents once we have confirmed measurements and finalized the plans.

Do I have to use Skipp Contractors?

We have a network of contractors in New York City, Austin, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Outside of these markets, we offer design services, we'll get your contractor the RFPs, and order your cabinets. We need you to sign off on final plans and purchase order of cabinets.

How does the delivery timeline work?

While we try to get everything delivered in a manner that lines up with your construction timeline; sometimes items are delivered early! You will be responsible for inspecting (to ensure accurate delivery) and storing these items.

Can I change my design collection?

Yes! However, our estimates are based on the cabinet selection you make, so your estimate will likely change in the process, but you can do this in the revision process.

What is the purpose of the $6K deposit? Is it refundable?

The 6K deposit is non-refundable. The 6K unlocks the rest of your Skipp Experience - working with the layout and design team. Eventually, it goes towards your cabinet purchase.

What if I want to make changes to my kitchen or Project Plan?

Easy! Once you pay your deposit, you work with your layout and design team. Our interactive portal allows for you to draw and explain exactly what changes you would like to be made. Two revisions come with each project (each revision can have as many items as you would like). And after that we charge a small fee for any more revisions.
